Specifications
GENERAL:
Unless noted otherwise, body construction shall be as follows:
- The body shall
be constructed as a unitized assembly.
- All compartment
seams shall be welded to form a water tight enclosure.
- Top of compartments
shall be an intergral sheet forming a drip rail over doors.
- Bulkhead shall
be welded to body compartments.
- Door Hinge Rods
are full length, and formed into door edges.
- Hinge Blocks
are riveted or bolted on.
- All doors have
chain restraints.
- Gasketing included
for around door perimeter - shipped loose.
- All exterior
welds shall be spatter free, and sanded smooth.
- All bodies are
undercoated.
- All bodies are
high pressure steam washed with a phosphatizing cleaning solution
before receiving two coats of primer.

- (2) 1" x 1/8" radiused Structural Angles.
- Floor - 12 ga.
Treadplate Steel.
- Underframe -
10 Ga. formed Steel.
Doors:
- Inner
and Outer Panels - 18 Ga. (double sided) Galvanneal steel.
- Hinge
Rod - 5/16" diameter, Stainless Steel Rod.
- Hinge
Pivot Blocks.
- Latches
- Zinc Plated Paddle Handles with keyed locks.
- Catches
- Plated, 2-Stage Adjustable type - Bolted on.
- Gasket
- Hollow "D" shaped neoprene
Shelving:
- Flat
type - 14 Ga. (double sided) Galvanneal with 1 1/4" front
lip.
- Divider
Trays - 18 Ga. (double sided) Galvanneal steel.
- Dividers
- 18 Ga. (double sided) Galvanneal steel - Hemmed - One divider
furnished for each slot in tray.
- Tailgate
- 12 Ga. (double sided) Galvanneal steel.
- Undercoating
- Pennz-guard III, as manufactured by Pennzoil Co.
Primer:
- First
coat (Wash Primer) - Sherwin Williams #E2G973.
- Second
coat - Sherwin Williams #820A Urethane Primer.

forward of wheel panel, streetside and curbside, to have (1) Adjustable
Shelf, and (1) Adjustable Divider Tray.
- Streetside
Horizontal Compartment to have (1) Fixed Shelf, centered.
- Curbside
Horizontal Compartment to have (1) Fixed Divider Tray, centered.
- Rear
Streetside Compartment to have (1) Adjustable Shelf.
